The building is surrounded by forest and farms and has beautiful views over the Seudre river valley.

The barn is close to the market towns of Cozes and Gemozac and the small fishing ports Port Maubert, Mortagne sur Gironde and Talmont on the Gironde Estuary. The Atlantic ocean beaches and the Gironde river beaches are only 30 minutes away and the historic towns of Bordeaux, Cognac and Saintes are within easy driving distance. 

Bordeaux and La Rochelle airports are approximately one hour's drive from the barn.

There is an exclusive restaurant "Domaine du Seudre" within walking distance and further restaurants at Mortagne sur Gironde, St Ciers du Taillon and Port Maubert are 5 minutes drive.

Activities nearby include - golf, sailing, horse riding, walking, cycling and bird watching.

Warning: Because there are many steps throughout the house and the upstairs windows have low sills,  -  young children and toddlers will require constant supervision, especially near the pool
